Terrain must be heaps rough around all Adelaide’s private schools, hey?

DAN SCHMIDT

Each morning and afternoon, a flock of Sports Utility Vehicles, Light Trucks, Jeeps and Dual Cab Utes with trays smaller than a hatchback’s boot, pick up precious cargo from outside schools across Adelaide.

It’s a lucky thing these cars can handle the treacherous terrain of suburban Adelaide.

Stay-at-home-but-not-in-lane mother of one, Meryl Sadies, in her Mercedes outside Mercedes, was asked by Adelaide Mail reporters if she felt her GLS was adequate enough to handle the the slight incline of Carrick Hill Drive at pick up time, to which she replied ‘Sorry, I don’t have any change today, but you can still do the windscreen if you like’ before quickly winding back up the tinted window.
