Premier welcomes new Elon Musk Death Star, points to 100 new jobs for Tonsley

TRENT BARTLETT

South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas has shown his support for a new Tesla-branded Death Star in the suburb of Tonsley, telling satirical newspaper The Advertiser “If [Elon Musk] wants to spend money in South Australia, creating jobs for South Australians, I’m fine with that”.

While the space station may have been christened with the unfortunate ‘Death Star’ moniker, the PR team at Tesla tell us that the gigantic superweapon is nothing to worry about.

“What we’re promising is 100 new jobs for South Australia and complete obliteration for the millions who oppose the policies of our hilariously-titled National Yield Authority for Normalisation, Compliance and Administrative Tracking (NYANCAT),” Head of PR for Tesla Henry Notanazi told us.

“What’s wrong? Is comedy illegal now? Come on, look at our logo, it’s the Nyan Cat! That’s funny, it’s very funny, and current,” Notanazi insisted.

The development will be tabled by the council during an upcoming development meeting during which new proposals for Viktor Orbán’s O-Bahn and the new South Road Kim Jong-UNderpass will also be considered.
